  Martyrdom of Iranian President Ayatollah Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hojat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Seyed Ibrahim Raisi, and his colleagues were martyred in a helicopter accident.

In this accident, Hojat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi was present along with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Hussain Amir Abdollahian, Tabriz Imam Juma Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Al Hashim, and Governor of Tabriz Mr. Malik Rahmati.

Among those martyred in the helicopter carrying the Iranian president are Sardar Seyed Mehdi Mousavi, head of the president's protection unit, Ansar al-Mahdi, a member of the security guard, a pilot, a co-pilot, and a technical officer.

It is worth noting that Hojat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Raisi and his colleagues were going to Tabriz by helicopter after the opening ceremony of the Qizaqala C Dam in the presence of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, when the helicopter had an accident and they were killed. It crashed in difficult terrain.
